The move means just one thing, THERE’S A BOWL GAME WITH A SWIMMING POOL! Add a swim up bar and it could become the best fan experience of all time!
The annual Big 12 number five vs the Pac-12 number six matchup was last played at the Arizona Diamondbacks’ stadium from 2000-2005, and will become the fourth bowl game played in a MLB stadium.
Arizona State traditionally hosts the matchup formerly known as the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, and probably most notably, the Insight Bowl, but the game needs to be moved while upgrades are made to Sun Devil Stadium. In the mean time though, be sure to pack your swim trunks if you’re headed to the bowl at the end of the season!
