Oklahoma State at Texas (Sep 26th)
It is put up or shut up for the two orangest teams in the conference. Why? Because many consider the Cowboys a legitimate contender in the Big 12, and rightfully so. They return one of the best defenses in the conference, and have finally found themselves a quarterback which they can rely on, in sophomore Mason Rudolph. That being said, Texas looks to build on the rocky season that they endured last year in Charlie Strong’s debut season with the ‘Horns. A statement against Texas in the opening game of conference play for Oklahoma State would certainly put them on a national radar, even with Texas being down. A loss though, would certainly put Texas on the uptick, and OSU on the outside looking in, early.
