Victor is a member of the 2012 recruiting class, and was named one of Texas’ 30 best defensive line prospects according to Texas Football Magazine. After redshirting his Freshman year, he saw the field twice in 2013, and two more times last season recording two tackles and a sack. Despite the injuries and limited playing experience though, he was expected to be in the defensive end rotation this year.
Injuries are a part of the game, but you always hate to see a kid pursuing his dream lose that opportunity. At least Victor will remain a part of the team as he sets his sights on coaching, and will be able to keep his scholarship while he graduates.
