We’ve got mail! In this week’s mailbag we’re talking about OU’s ceiling, the Horned Frog’s defense, why Dana Holgorsen can’t find a QB, if the Sooners or Cowboys can beat TCU and Baylor, and there’s even a The Walking Dead question (which I could probably use your all’s help with).
It was a fantastic week for questions, and remember, if there’s something you’d like to ask just tweet your questions to @the_LGG with the hashtag #LGGMailbag, and you may see them in next week’s edition!
After An Upset Loss To The Longhorns, What’s OU’s Ceiling?
@ChrisRossSports Is 10-2 or 9-3 realistic for OU to finish the regular season?

Don’t go counting the Sooners out of anything just yet.
It’s going to be tough for anyone to get through the round-robin schedule unscathed. At one point or another eight of the Big 12’s ten teams have flirted with the top 25. That’s a tough gauntlet for anybody to run through without picking up a loss.
At the end of day though, it’s just one loss for the Sooners and they have a good opportunity to get things back on track against a reeling K-State team this Saturday.
I also have a sneaky suspicion that the Longhorns are going to be a team nobody wants to play come November. Beyond knocking off the Sooners, they played both Cal and OSU close. Don’t think those heartbreakers didn’t have anything to do with getting blown out in Fort Worth either.
The Sooner’s season could hinge on how well they do against Texas Tech in Norman next weekend. If they can’t handle the Red Raiders, then it could be a long season.
