It’s been a tough couple of week for Kansas State. First the Wildcats lost a game they should have won against Oklahoma State, then they lost to TCU after blowing a 35-17 point lead. To say they came into the game against OU reeling is an understatement.
Unfortunately for EMAW nation, things went from bad to worse against Oklahoma.
By halftime the game was already out of hand. The Wildcats were down 35-0, and it didn’t even feel that close. K-State had quit.
“We had a great intensity coming into the game, and guys were fired up in the locker room,” OU receiver Sterling Shepard said. “Everybody wanted to show what type of team we were because of last week’s loss, so we did a great job with intensity and executing our jobs.”
Oh sure, the Purple Wizard started trying some things before the half by putting WR Cody Cook in to play quarterback, but there were no answers to be found. This game is over as soon as OU got off the bus.
“I think all of us are embarrassed,” coach Snyder said.

Key Point In The Game
The turning point in this game was after three broken planes were a no go, a fourth plane eventually showed up to get the Sooners to Manhattan.
Emptying The Notebook
It’s probably not that bad… Probably.
K-State is going to lose to Kansas and Iowa State.

Hubener is is struggling. He completed just four of 12 for just 39 and two picks before being benched in favor or the 5th string QB.
Kody Cook didn’t fare much better. He went one for eight for just six yards and a pick. Maybe a lineman can play QB next week?
110 yards total offense. That’s beyond bad for K-State. Only 45 yards through the air, and averaged just 2.1 yards per carry. Yikes!
