The Big 12 has made it back to primetime… on the one Saturday everybody would have been okay with playing early.
It’s good to have a primetime game though, even if Longhorn and Cyclone watch parties will be terrorized by pint-size humans demanding candy or else.
The action starts a little early in week 9 with West Virginia facing off against TCU on Thursday night. They both have a bye week this weekend, and it couldn’t come at a better time. The Mountaineers could use a the extra time to lick their wounds, and TCU is trying to get healthy as they prepare for the stretch run toward the College Football Playoff.
The marquee game of the week though, will kickoff at 2:30 pm CST on Saturday. It’s strength on strength as Oklahoma State’s shutdown defense travels to Lubbock to take on Texas Tech’s blistering offense.
