There should be and, understandably, will be some heavy debating with this week’s rankings. So many performances, three in particular, came down to the wire.

[tps_header]It was another crazy week in the Big 12. We saw everything from a couple of five touchdown performances to a couple of uh… not so great outings. It’s never easy ranking these guys every week and, take my word for it, week seven was no exception.[/tps_header]

8. Joe Hubener (Kansas State)

This just hasn’t been Hubener’s year. The Wildcats caught Oklahoma the weekend after their loss to a then written off Texas team.

The Sooners came out inspired, and Hubener just didn’t have it on this day. Midway through the second quarter he had half as many interceptions thrown as passes completed, and was pulled in favor of receiver Kody Cook.

Anytime you’re benched to see what the 5th-string QB/wide receiver can do, it’s not a great day. Not much to go into here, just take a look at the numbers.
