TCU Heisman hopeful Trevone Boykin left the game in the second quarter against Kansas after coming up limping. There’s no word yet on the severity of the injury other than it appears to be to his ankle, and it’s unclear exactly when it was suffered. Although he went down awkwardly in the first quarter after trying to bounce a run out to the outside.

Boykin was ushered back to the locker room to be evaluated, but has since returned to the sidelines, but head coach Gary Patterson told Fox Sports at the half that Boykin will not make it back to the game.
The Horned Frogs will have to find some answer without their prolific QB as TCU is in a dog fight with winless Kansas. At the break the two teams are tied at 10 a piece, and TCU’s offense is struggling. Their lone touchdown of the game so far came on a KaVontae Turpin 49-yard punt return.
This is the first time Kansas has not been down going into the half since last season when they lead TCU 3-0 at the break. The Horned Frogs went on to win that game 34-30.
