Rumors started swirling on Monday that Baylor freshman quarterback Jarrett Stidham would miss Saturday’s game against Oklahoma State.
Despite those rumors, it looks like Stidham will be able to make it to Stillwater after all. Art Briles addressed the injury concerns regarding his young quarterback in his press conference on Monday.

After the loss to Oklahoma coach Briles admitted that Stidham through pain for pretty much the whole game after being injured on the first drive. It clearly affected how the coaching staff was able to call their plays, not to mention how it affected Stidham’s throwing ability.
“He’s not very good, quite honestly.” Briles said after the game. “He’s in pain right now. I don’t know what the extent is.”
Thankfully, it would appear that the extent isn’t too much. That’s good news for the Bears. With Seth Russell out with a season-ending injury, they can ill afford to lose Stidham as well.
“I knew it would be fine.” Stidham told the media on Monday.
