They’re a little late getting out, but here they are!

After being knocked out of first place last week, I’ve climbed back to the top off a pretty good week. Overall, it wasn’t our best week as a group, but with all but one 50 percent or higher, we’ll take it!

Player

Overall

Win %

Chris Ross 4-1-0 39-20-1 66%
Kyle Lang 2-3-0 37-21-2 63%
Robert Spradley 3-2-0 28-23-4 55%
Tracy Guest 2-3-0 29-28-3 51%
Landon Wilson 2-3-0 29-29-2 50%
Matt Turney 3-2-0 28-29-3 49%

Okay, since we’re running behind, let’s just get right into the picks!

Disclaimer: We are not responsible if you lose money by taking our picks. In fact we would advise you against it. We are probably quite terrible at this.

Chris Ross

  • Temple -12 (vs UConn)
  • Georgia Southern -21.5 (vs South Alabama)
  • Rutgers -1 (vs Maryland)
  • Stanford -3.5 (vs Notre Dame)
  • West Virginia -13.5 (vs Iowa State)

The Cyclones have been improved since Mangino left Ames and Lanning took over behind center, or at least that’s how it’s seemed. However, on paper, the Cyclones have lost production since the change, and West Virginia is primed to expose that. Paul Rhoads’ final game on the Iowa State sidelines will show why it’s time for a change in Ames.

Kyle Lang

  • Ohio State -1 (at Michigan)
  • Alabama -14.5 (at Auburn)
  • Stanford -3.5 (vs Notre Dame)
  • Mississippi -1 (at Mississippi State)
  • TCU +1.5 (vs Baylor)

I’ll defer to the experts on the Bedlam Game because to me it’s just too close to call. It’s going to be a wet and nasty game in Fort Worth and I’m calling for a fairly big upset by TCU. This game TCU might need to take a page from games coach Dutch Meyer who once said “Fight ’em till hell freezes. Then fight ’em on the ice!”

Robert Spradley

  • Clemson -18.5 (at South Carolina)
  • LSU -5.5 (vs Texas A&M)
  • Northwestern -3.5 (at Illinois)
  • Florida State -2 (at Florida)
  • Oklahoma State +7 (vs Oklahoma)

The Sooners would benefit greatly in the CFP standings from a big victory against the rival Cowboys. But I can’t see a scenario where Bedlam ends in anything other than a dramatic last minute victory for either team.

Tracy Guest

  • Vanderbilt +17 (at Tennessee)
  • BYU -3 (at Utah State)
  • Florida +2.5 (vs Florida State)
  • Boston College -3 (at Syracuse)
  • West Virginia -14 (vs Iowa State)

West Virginia was an efficient football team last week and I believe they will have no trouble with an ISU team that’s just trying to finish the season.

Landon Wilson

  • Florida State -2.5 (at Florida)
  • North Carolina -5.5 (at NC State)
  • Duke -4 (at Wake Forest)
  • Ole Miss -1 (at Miss St)
  • Kansas State -20 (at Kansas)

The Wildcats will grab a big win against the lowly Jayhawks and give Bill Snyder the big win he deserves.

Matt Turney

  • Michigan 0 (vs Ohio State)
  • Virginia Tech -3 (at Virginia)
  • East Carolina -1.5 (vs Cincinnati)
  • Memphis -21.5 (vs SMU)
  • Oklahoma State +7 (vs Oklahoma)

This is a really tough pick but the full touchdown line surprised me given this match-up’s history. OU is no doubt the more complete team but it’s Bedlam in Stillwater. Weird things happen. I pick OU to win but the Pokes will cover the seven points.
