It’s reported that Iowa State top receiver Allen Lazard will miss the Cyclones spring game scheduled for April 16th due to a fractured right hand.

Fortunately, it is a hairline fracture, and he is not expected to have to undergo surgery. He should be back in plenty of time for fall camp.

Lazard is a big piece of the Cyclones offense. Last season Lazard racked up 808 yards and six touchdowns on 56 catches. He’s also a guy that shows up for big games with his highest production coming against Oklahoma and TCU last season. He’s certainly a guy they can’t afford to miss much time.
