Texas Tech and North Carolina State have reached an agreement on a home-and-home series, according to ESPN’s Brett McMurphy.
NC State, Texas Tech add home/home series; 2022 at NCSU, 2027 at Tech; NC State, Vandy add home/home series; 2026 at VU, 2028 at NCSU

The series will kick off with the Red Raiders traveling to Raleigh, NC, in 2022. The Wolfpack return the favor five years later with a trip to Lubbock, TX, in 2027.
The series will mark the sixth and seventh times the two schools have met. Unfortunately, history has not been kind to the Red Raiders as the Wolfpack lead the series 4-1. Tech’s lone win came when the two school’s first met in 1952. The last time they’ve played each other was in 2003, a game NC State won 49-21.
The Wolfpack are in the ACC, so the matchup will satisfy the power-five non-conference scheduling requirement for 2022 and 2027 for the Red Raiders.
Other power-five matchups on Tech’s schedule include Arizona State this upcoming season and then again in 2017, and Arizona in 2019 and 2020.
