We keep rolling through the 2016 previews, and this week founder and publisher of GoPowercat.com (K-State Rivals site), Tim Fitzgerald joins the show to help dissect Kansas State. If you don’t already know, GPC is regarded as the foremost leader in K-State news when it comes to Snyder’s Ft Knox of information. We have to give a big thank you to Tim for coming on the show,
Coming off of arguably the worst injury plagued teams of the Bill Snyder era, K-State hopes to rebound with some key pieces at key positions. Most notably fifth-year senior Safety Dante Barnett on defense and Quarterback Jesse Ertz on Offense. However, some of the surrounding position groups that leave question marks, like the offensive line. That makes it hard to judge this Wildcat team’s ceiling.
Regardless, there appears to be plenty of experience up and down the 2-deep. The main question is, just how much athleticism is there hidden within that depth on that roster? If K-State can reverse its injury fortune from a year ago, there is no telling what can come of this Wildcat squad with and old-fashioned dose of that elixir: Bill Snyder player development.
