On Saturday, Oklahoma will welcome Kansas State to Norman for the Sooner’s Big 12 home opener, and they plan to do it in style. The school announced on Tuesday that they will be wearing their “Rough Rider” alternate uniforms against the Wildcats.

The Sooners wore the alternate kit twice last season. They wore all cream against Kansas in Lawrence, and wore the crimson helmet, crimson jersey and cream pant against West Virginia. It looks like they will be wearing that crimson-crimson-cream version when they play the Wildcats.
For what it’s worth, they creamed — pun intended — Kansas 62-7, and beat West Virginia 44-24 last season.
