The latest College Football Playoff Rankings were released Tuesday night, and for the Sooners and the Cowboys, it was good news. Albeit, maybe not good enough.
Oklahoma continues to top the Big 12, and after manhandling #14 West Virginia in Morgantown, they moved up a whopping one spot to eighth. Oklahoma State, 11th last week, isn’t too far behind them at 10th after their win over TCU.
The Mountaineers were the only other Big 12 team ranked by the committee at 18th, down four spots after their loss to OU.

It would appear the Big 12 will still need some help to get into the playoff. The good news is, no matter who wins Bedlam, the winner will have at least an argument to get in.
