Oklahoma State added a big piece to their class, as they landed a pledge from Tuttle, OK, in offensive tackle Hunter Anthony. This is a big get, both physically (he’s enormous at 6-foot-7 and 320 pounds), and in terms of class needs. Mike Gundy knew coming into this class that he needed to add a few tackles and he did just that with this commitment; landing the 62nd best tackle over Kansas, Oklahoma, and Missouri.

Anthony is the fourth commitment in the 2018 class for Oklahoma State, and his joining the class moves the Cowboys up to 24th in the country, third in the Big 12.
He’s a big guy, and that’s something that really sticks out right away when you watch his film. You can’t ignore his presence when he takes the field. However, he’s really, really raw. That’s okay, that’s expected from high school lineman. He has a very high ceiling, that he can reach if he puts in the work. He will have to work on his speed an his footwork isn’t great, but he’s got a ton of strength, and with some work on his technique he could be a stud in Gundy’s offense.
Offensive line is a huge need in this class, and I expect to see three more join Anthony in this class: four-star tackles Darrell Simpson and Tramonda Moore, as well as four-star guard Barton Clement.
