Former Texas Tech DT Breiden Fehoko Is Headed To LSU
He will have to sit out a year, but former Red Raider DT Breiden Fehoko will be a Tiger.
Three months ago Breiden Fehoko announced on Twitter that we would be transferring out of the Texas Tech program. Today, we found out that the defensive tackle will end up at LSU.

Fehoko chose the Tigers over Auburn, Louisville and Georgia, and he is a big get for LSU. Fehoko was a 4-star member of the Red Raider’s 2015 class, and started in 25 games his two years on campus. However, he won’t be available to LSU right away.
In order to satisfy NCAA transfer rules he will have to sit out a year, and won’t see the field until 2018. This season should count has his redshirt year since he did not redshirt at Texas Tech, though. So, when he is able to return to the field, he will have two years of eligibility remaining.
