The Cowboys are projected to be a contender for the Big 12 crown, but one their biggest hurdles on the schedule is traveling to Morgantown. The Mountaineers, led by new QB Will Grier, have dark horse plans of their own this season. So, when Oklahoma State comes calling on October 28, they will be ready.
West Virginia announced several game promotions on Wednesday to help build hype for the season, and the game against Oklahoma State will be True Blue.

Other stadium promotions include a Gold Rush for the September 9 matchup against East Carolina, where fans are encouraged to wear gold, and WVU fans attending the game on October 4 against Texas Tech will need to pay attention to the section they are sitting in. WVU is planning on stripping the stadium for the Red Raiders.
The Mountaineers already feature one of the tougher road venues in the conference, and these game promotions aren’t doing their opponents any favors. Is it time for football yet? It can’t get here soon enough!
