Oklahoma Tight End Mark Andrews Leaves Game With Knee Injury

For Sooner fans, one of the biggest nightmares for the season would be losing veteran tight end Mark Andrews. Unfortunately, that nightmare is playing out against Ohio State on Saturday night.

Mark Andrews left the game early in the second quarter with a left knee injury. He appeared to be in considerable pain as the medical staff attended to him on the sidelines, it is questionable whether or not he will be able to return to the game.

If Andrews does not return to the field, we probably won’t know how serious the injury is or if Andrews will miss any significant time until later in the week.

Andrews is a major weapon in the passing game, and has been a favorite target for Baker Mayfield so far this season. He leads all receivers with 7 catches for 134 yards and a touchdown.
