Second Player Dismissed From Oklahoma State This Week

As was earlier reported earlier on Saturday, sophomore corner Madre Harper did not travel with the team for the game against Pitt, and coach Gundy has now confirmed Harper has been dismissed from the team.

Gundy did not clarify as to what led to his dismissal.

Standout receiver Tyron Johnson was also left behind this week, but coach Gundy confirmed he will be available for the TCU game next week.

“[Johnson] didn’t violate any rules outside of the team,” Gundy said after the game against Pitt.

Harper, a reserve player, is the second player dismissed from the Cowboys this week. Freshman linebacker Brendan Vaughn was kicked from the team after he was arrested on Saturday for possession and intent to distribute.

Despite the losses, the Cowboys easily defeated Pitt on Saturday 59-21 by scoring touchdowns on their first seven drives of the game.
