The Oklahoma State offensive line was without a key piece in its conference opener.  Right guard Larry Williams is expected to be out for the rest of the season with a broken leg, according to the Oklahoma State Radio Network.

Sources had told LGG on Thursday that Williams had suffered an injury and there were questions as to whether he would start in today’s contest.  The loss of proved very harmful as Oklahoma State struggled against TCu’s defense and lost to the Horned Frogs, 44-31.

The JUCO transfer had returned to health after sustaining an injury midway through the season last year.

This comes as yet another hit to the Cowboys line, as tackle Zach Crabtree is out as well. Crabtree injured his toe last week against Pitt though it’s unclear how much time he will miss.
