For the second time this season, ESPN’s premier pregame show, College Gameday, will be heading to see a top Big 12 matchup. After more than two seasons without Gameday in the Big 12, Lee Corso, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard and Rece Davis are headed back to Big 12 country, just a few weeks after Gameday set up in Fort Worth for TCU vs West Virginia, a game the Horned Frogs won, 31-24. It was announced just moments ago that Bedlam would be the site for Gameday this week.

With both teams sitting inside the top ten, at one loss a piece, this game will play a huge part in determining the upper echelon of the Big 12. The current four-way tie atop the Big 12 among Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Iowa State and TCU is one of the most interesting storylines in college football, and when Gameday is coming to town, you know it’s important.

This will be Oklahoma’s 33rd appearance on Gameday. The Sooners are 22-10 in such games, and was last featured prior to their big win over Ohio State in Columbus.

Oklahoma State is making their eighth appearance. The Cowboys have a dismal 1-6 record when featured on Gameday, with their most recent cameo coming in 2015 against the Sooners.

This is the sixth time Gameday will be in town for Bedlam, and the fifth time it visits Stillwater for the game. The only time Gameday was in Norman for the game was in 2003, as Oklahoma destroyed the visiting Cowboys 52-9.
