Week one is in the books, which means it time for top plays. It wasn’t the best showing from the conference. Iowa State was rained out of their game, while Kansas and Kansas State wishes they were. Still, the seven other games gave plenty of highlights to choose from. I’ve gone through them, and here are the five that stood out above the rest, but first up, honorable mentions.

Oklahoma State had a couple of highlights nearly make the top five, starting with this cut Chuba Hubbard put on the Missouri State defense.

Justice Hill busted out a 93-yard run on Saturday. If only he got those last couple of yards.

TJ Simmons effort to get into the end zone nearly put him into the top 5 plays.

Jalan McClendon to Jalen Hurd is going to be a dangerous combination.

And now to the Top 5 plays!

5. Kyler Murray gets 15 yards the hard way.

Murray made the same man miss twice. I honestly feel bad for him. He’s going to have a hard time living that down when they go back and watch tape.

4. TCU’s Darius Davis returns a punt 73 yards for the touchdown

In his first ever game with the Horned Frogs, Davis houses a punt.

3. Lee Morris’ punt block resulting in a Sooners touchdown.

Punt block, check. Touchdown, check. Yep, that combination is going to be a top play nearly every time.

2. Devin Duvernay Lays Out For TD Catch

Oh my! The Longhorns didn’t look good on Saturday, but you can’t say Duvernay didn’t leave it all out on the field.

1. TJ Vasher One-Handed Grab

Do I even need to say why this is the top play from week one? It doesn’t get much better than this.
