Playing Out The 2015 Season: Week 2

We’re still a few weeks away from the start of the season, but we’re impatient, and decided to play it out ourselves. A few teams stumbled in week one, can they rebound in week two?

Coming off the big game in South Bend, we should know quite a bit more about the Longhorns. Like who the starting QB is going to be,  and just how good they can be. They’ll also be looking for redemption after the week one loss.

Recently the Owls have become a team you can’t overlook behind an effective zone-read offense, however they could take a step back in 2015. They return just ten starters from last season.

The Longhorns shouldn’t have too much trouble here, but this is where we’re going to see if the culture change is having an effect in Austin. Do they show up and just expect to win, or do they show some mettle, and take this game seriously.

Week one is the game Longhorn fans are excited about, but week two is when they want to see a complete game on all sides of the ball. Do that and they’re on their way back up, if not it’s going to be a long year; regardless of the outcome against Rice.
