As we get ready for Big 12 play, there’s been a major shift in the LGG Power Poll.

Our panel is clearly concerned it the amount of injuries plaguing TCU as they struggled with the Ponies. Last week the Frogs were first with a commanding seven first-place votes. This week though the they dropped to third. This after a 19-point victory over a team that might be the most improved team in college football and a fierce rival. Tough crowd.

West Virginia and Texas Tech tied for 4th place in our poll.  For the Red Raiders it was an enormous leap from 7th last week.  Clearly Tech beating Arkansas in Fayetteville has gotten our panel’s attention. Their game with the Frogs this weekend should be a doozy.

Kansas is again the unanimous choice for dead last once again, but really that’s to be expected at this point.  The Jayhawks have not gained a single vote for a position other than last place this season. Similarly the Iowa State Cyclones finished with every 9th place vote from our panel after their double Overtime loss to a pretty good Toledo squad.
