[tps_header]In today’s mailbag: Can Texas Tech get back on track against Iowa State? With Ryan Simmons and Karl Joseph out, who’s injury hurts more, West Virginia’s or Oklahoma State’s? We’re never going to all agree on QB rankings. Can K-State upset TCU? And, just how good is Oklahoma State?[/tps_header]
Can Texas Tech get back on track against Iowa State?
@the_LGG Do you think Texas Tech gets back on track this weekend against Iowa State?

I do. I think Kyle is on point with his preview of the Texas Tech-Iowa State game. The Cyclones are improved, but it’s just not enough. I like Texas Tech to get back into the win column in a big way.
What’s interesting is, despite the back-to-back losses, I can see a scenario where the Red Raiders don’t lose another game. Once you pick yourself up off the ground and get back into your chair, hear me out. They have a chance to build their confidence back up with Kansas up after Iowa State, and we all know Tech is capable of that one big upset every year. This year that could be at Oklahoma. A place they’ve won at before.
Should they get that win, it could be downhill the rest of the season. They’ll still have OSU and WVU to contend with, but a 10-2 season isn’t out of the question.
