Oklahoma State’s Top 2016 Recruit Is Headed To Community College

The Cowboys just lost some much-needed depth on the offensive line.

Tramonda Moore was the highlight of the Cowboy’s 2016 recruiting class. Now, it looks like he won’t even make it to campus.

Moore was a late signee for the Pokes, but the four-star offensive tackle out of Oklahoma City, OK, has reportedly signed with Independence Community College after failing to qualify at OSU.

Rumors that Moore was in danger of not qualifying have been swirling for sometime, but coach Gundy seemed confident that Moore would make it to Stillwater.

“He’s on track to be with us in June”, Gundy said on National Signing Day.

Losing Moore is a blow to the Cowboys. Not only as a top recruit, but he was expected to have an immediate impact on the offensive line – a group that can use as much help as they can get.

Should Moore get his grades up in the JUCO ranks, he could still head to Stillwater. However, in the time during, Gundy will have to rely on the other six offensive linemen that signed with the Pokes in 2016.
