Trey Sermon Leaves Game With Injury
Trey Sermon suffered a leg injury against TCU, and it doesn’t look good.

The Sooners just knocked off the Horned Frogs 52-27, but the win may have come at a price. Trey Sermon went down awkwardly in the fourth quarter, and it doesn’t look good. Sermon was eventually helped off the field, and it didn’t appear that he could put much weight on his leg.

There’s no official word on the injury just yet, but hopefully it isn’t as serious as it first looked. The Sooners are already without Rodney Anderson, who was injured earlier in the year. The good news is, the Sooners have a deep running back unit.
Perhaps the more gruesome injury on the day though, belongs to Michael Collins.

Collins was brought into the game in the second quarter to take over for a struggling Shawn Robinson, and promptly led TCU to 17 second-quarter points, and brought the Horned Frogs back from down 21 to down 4 at halftime.
Collins remained in the game after the injury, but it clearly affected his throwing ability and the Horned Frog offense struggled in the second half.
